Our Mission
At Parke Dixon Speech Factory, our mission is to provide exceptional and personalized speech and language therapy to children in both mobile and virtual settings. We believe that every child deserves the confidence to communicate effectively, and we are deeply committed to offering high-quality therapy that is accessible, engaging, and convenient for families.
By building strong rapport with each child and applying evidence-based techniques, we empower them to develop meaningful communication skills within a supportive and nurturing environment. Our goal is to meet each child where they are and help them grow with patience and dedication.
This practice is founded on the understanding that a child’s progress thrives through teamwork. The collaboration between therapist, educators, and families functions like the intricate gears of a well-oiled machine—each part working in harmony to support a child’s full growth and potential.
About our Founder
Reneida Parker, M.Ed., CCC-SLP, has always believed in the power of communication to connect people and create change. Her journey began with a love for language, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Mercer University. That passion led her to pursue both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Valdosta State University—where she found her calling in speech-language pathology.
Over the years, Reneida has worked with children facing challenges such as Apraxia, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Language and Articulation Disorders. She’s also supported adults navigating conditions like Dementia, Aphasia, Voice Disorders, and Dysphagia. Her dedication to growth and learning continues—she’s completed Level 1 training in P.R.O.M.P.T. therapy.
Whether in public schools, private settings, or one-on-one therapy sessions, Reneida brings compassion, experience, and a collaborative spirit to every interaction. Her goal is simple: to help every voice be heard and every child feel supported on their communication journey.
